Amazon also has same-day and 2-hour or less delivery service, so everyone has to work fast in different departments such as merchandise, make-on-demand, customer returns, and general fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Locating and finding ordered items in the warehouse using mobile devices or scanners.
- Packing: Packing the items for delivery while making sure that they are packed and labeled properly.
- Sorting: Organize delivery packages according to delivery routes.
- Inventory Management: Making sure that inventory is updated and products are in stock.
- Safety Compliance: Making sure that work-environment is safe and secure while following all safety guidelines and protocols.
